In the months leading up to May 17, 2021, I was rocking along composing and recording and writing. But I severely injured my left rotator cuff that day. This was followed up with a surgery in August and physical therapy for several months. This was a painful process and it knocked me out of these pursuits. Thereafter, when things were starting to shape up, I re-injured the same rotator cuff in a freak nordic trail running trip and fall on August 5, 2022. The lesson? Don't use wrist straps on your poles when trail running. So the second injury also required rotator cuff surgery and it was pretty severe, since it was a revision surgery. I'm three months into rehab and things are looking up. I'm telling you all of this, because I'm planning to return and finish composing Tribulation, and thereafter move on to new musical ideas. I also plan to be much more active in writing about the biblical truths that I believe are most essential for living in today's world.
